My Rant on Star Wars' "Last Jedi"

SJWs (Social Justice Warriors) are ruining Star Wars. Star Wars “The Last Jedi” should be ashamed of itself for deferring to realistic non-stereotypes of minorities in warfare during WWI and WWII; if you’re an individual that refuses to respectfully acknowledge the role played by black men in World War One, and Two (Harlem Hell Fighters, William Derbyshire Published on Sep 25, 2009 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OCq4DLb4upU) , then black women in World War Two ( blackhistorywalks Published on Mar 27, 2009 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jh3gUKxvWfc ); you are painfully unaware of U.S. military history.

Unfortunately minorities such as black men and women along with Japanese men called “Nisei” who’s families had been placed in American internment camps during WWII  were partly responsible for various Allied victories in WWII due to their contribution in warfare ranging from postal workers, nurses, fighter pilots; particularly Herman L Grimes, WWII purple heart recipient and pilot,  who invented the folding wing aircraft used in the "War of the Pacific" and the 442nd Infantry Regiment (Nisei) who fought in 8 major campaigns in: Italy, France, and Germany and received 18,000 awards ranging from the Bronze to Silver medal ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bgM5slbHYa4 ). Two of the films main characters are John Boyega ( Finn ) and Rose Tico (Kelly Marie Tran) sister to Paige Tico (Veronica Ngo) the rebel bomber pilot who's death enabled Poe Dameron’s attack on the First Order dreadnought to succeed, and prevented Finn from completing his suicide run against the laser battering ram.

Throughout the film, Finn, Rose, and Poe constantly display outrageously shameful behavior for minorities such as displaying a passion for Liberty, Justice, Freedom, and the inclusion of others within their personal ranks – in short, Finn, Rose, and Poe are “Social Justice Warriors”.  But, weren’t the Allies also “Social Justice Warriors”; what would make me think that: their struggle to free oppressed Jews from concentration camps, invading Germany on “D Day” to remove a psychotic dictator known as Adolf Hitler form power, loaning funds to the British so that they could rebuild their devastated national infrastructure. My God; how dare the Allies act like “SJWs”; while pretending to represent the U.S. on the world stage in those two wars. Didn’t they know that their behavior was shameful to the U.S. and might one day be emulated in movies like Star Wars’ “The Last Jedi”. What were they thinking? How dare they do these things!

How dare they show qualities like loyalty, bravery, ingenuity let alone a willingness to die for others. This is not the way minorities really are when fighting in wars against U.S. enemies. Only white guys act like this! So, despite everything I found out about the contribution of minorities in WWI and WWII; I think it was deplorable that Star Wars creators should mislead movie audiences into believing that this is typical behavior for minorities in Warfare – real or imaginary.

Why African-Americans left the south in droves — and what's bringing the...

It's important to realize the dates listed. It's through noticing these dates that we begin to realize that this country is not that far removed away from the root of those issues that African Americans still deal with. The 1970's was 48 years ago. Your dad could tell you about it if he was honest rather he was black or white. However; depending on which one he was there might be things he doesn't want to talk about or may not be proud of. It's that recent not that old.

Notes on Adorning “Otherness”

Picture: By The Atlantic Disfactor art: By Jabram Allen According to David Shariatmadari off the  Guardian “We think we know what a gay person sounds like. But there   are caveats to the cliche — and ‘voice-shaming’ tells us a lot more about our culture than it does about the person speaking” According to Shariatmadari; “the research says probably not. There’s mountains of evidence to suggest we adapt our speech to more closely resemble that of people we identify with. The particular sounds a group of speakers makes use of are arbitrary. They acquire meaning and recognizability only through association. The fact that these changes are usually unconscious is well documented. But, linguistically speaking, sounding gay is really no different from sounding street, sounding posh or sounding like a bro”. In other words, groups develop, practice and telegraph those actions that set them apart from other groups so that they may be intentionally recognized by those that don’t belong to t
